Mary Lee Magee is a faculty member in the VCU Department of Family Medicine. She has served as the co-director for the I²CRP program for the past five years. Her background is in community counseling, and she worked in a crisis shelter in rural southwestern Virginia for about 10 years. When she moved to Richmond, Virginia, she worked two years with a VCU research study that aimed to help women in the Richmond community reduce their risk of drinking alcohol during pregnancy. Eventually, she found her way to the School of Medicine and the I²CRP Program, and she knew she was home.
